2015 to now
How I got into this work
In 2015, while I was still at school, I started a YouTube channel about tech. Then I started a few more. I ran all of them myself until 2018, and most of them grew. A few of the videos went viral.
In 2018 a personal tragedy stopped all of it. That part is not for a website. So I went freelance and started working for other creators instead. I edited their videos, then designed their thumbnails, then ran their channels end to end. For 4 years I believed what most editors believe. Make the video better and it will do better.
It is not true. The edits I was proudest of were not the ones that did well. Some of the ones that did well I had barely touched. These were client channels, so I was watching the same thing happen on a dozen of them at once, across different niches and different audiences.
So I stopped starting with the edit and started with the analytics. Why do people stop watching. Why do they skip. What makes someone stay for one more minute. Those are questions about how attention works, not about cuts, so I went deep into marketing and into how people actually behave.
Coming from tech helped more than I expected. I had spent 3 years making videos about how systems work, so the algorithm was never the hard part. Most marketers work around it. I could read it.
By 2022 I had stopped selling edits. I started deciding what a video should be in the first place, and who it was for. That is growth strategy, and it is what I have done every day since.
It is still the first thing I do on any channel. Diagnose before you produce, because a better edit of the wrong video is still the wrong video.
What I believe about creator growth
Five positions the work runs on. Each one costs me something, which is how you can tell they are real.
1. Don’t chase followers. Build significance.
The job was never a follower count. It is to make you recognisable, relevant, respected, remembered and worth money. Those five survive an algorithm change. A spike does not.
2. The promise, the packaging and the payoff are one thing.
The videos that performed were never the best-edited ones. They were the ones where what was promised, how it was presented and what it delivered were the same thing. Everything in the method is downstream of that.
3. The order is a dependency, not a preference.
Content made before the position is settled has nothing to be recognisable for. Distribution before there is anything worth distributing spreads the noise. Run the stages out of order and you work hard for a quarter to end up where you started.
4. Saying no is most of the job.
Creators, not brands. YouTube and Instagram, not every platform. A roster kept deliberately small. Saying no to the wrong work is most of what keeps the results consistent, and the constraint is what makes the advice specific enough to act on.
5. No guaranteed number, because nobody honest gives one.
The method does not promise virality or instant growth. It is built to shorten the learning cycle, improve the quality of the decisions, and compound the odds of growth that lasts.
How I run the work
Three things that do not change from one engagement to the next, whatever we agreed to build.
Everything arrives in writing
Diagnosis, position, plan, review. Documents you keep, not calls you have to remember afterwards.
You deal with me, one to one
I run the strategy, the calls and the reporting. My team implements against my spec, and no one sits between us.
Every month ends in a decision
A review against the numbers we set at the start, and what we change because of them.
Who I’m a good fit for, and who I’m not
I would much rather you rule yourself out here than on a call with me.
Not a fit
Nothing to diagnose yet
You have not published yet. Go make 20 things, then come back. Right now there is nothing to look at.
Chasing hacks
You are after viral hacks, bought subscribers or engagement pods.
Wanting a guarantee
You want a guaranteed subscriber number. Nobody honest is going to give you one.
A plan set in stone
You want hands to run a plan you have already written and will not change.
Under $999 a month
Your budget is under $999 a month, or you want one piece of work done this week and nothing after it.
Good fit
Already publishing
You already publish consistently. The habit is there. The results are not.
Real traction
You have 10k+ followers, or you are under that with something clearly working.
A system you keep
You want a system you keep, not an agency you cannot leave.
You can decide
You can make a call without taking it to 4 other people first.
Run as a business
You treat the channel like a business, and the budget backs that up.
What I’m working on right now
Where the practice actually is, so this page is not just a story about the past.
Running
A full-service practice with a capped roster, so strategy, production and management all sit under one roof for a small number of creators.
Writing
The frameworks down properly. All 6 stages of ZH Growth Architecture are documented end to end now, and the playbook is where the working answers go.
Thinking about
What happens to creator discovery as search turns into AI answers, and what a channel has to look like to get cited rather than just ranked.
Questions People Actually Ask Me
Answered straight, so you do not have to spend a call getting them.
Zillionaire Honey is the name I work under. Millionaire and Billionaire are fixed numbers. A zillion is not one. It is the word people reach for when something is too large to count. In this brand it stands for growth with no ceiling, and it does not stand for money. That is the thing I build for creators, a personal brand made to scale past the usual limits.
No. Money is a by-product of an audience and a business that keep growing, and it is not what the name points at. Growth has no finish line, which is the whole idea. My proof is client results rather than anything I own.
I am Zillionaire Honey, a growth strategist and marketer for YouTube and Instagram creators. I have worked with creators since 2018. In those eight years that work has generated 190M+ views and $2.8M+ in client revenue, across 19+ long-term relationships. My work sits between strategy and execution. I decide what has to change, then I build it.
Since 2018, so eight years. In that time YouTube and Instagram have rebuilt how they distribute content several times over. That is mostly what experience buys you here. You stop chasing whatever worked last month. You start to recognise which parts are load bearing and which parts only look important.
In 2018 you could grow on volume and consistency alone. Today every major platform ranks on watch time, retention and saves. Your reach now depends on how a video performs in its first hour, not on how many followers you already have. That helps small accounts. It hurts anyone who still posts daily and hopes. The fundamentals never moved. Pick a specific audience. Write a hook that earns the next ten seconds. Give people a reason to stay.
Because I kept solving the same problems in the same order. Positioning has to settle before content. Content has to work before monetization is worth attempting. Creators who skip to the end launch an offer to an audience that does not know what they stand for. The launch fails and they blame the offer. The six stages are that order written down, so nothing gets jumped.
Creators who already publish and want to turn an audience into a business. Not a hobby with good numbers. Most of my client relationships run past a year. That only happens when someone will genuinely change how they work. Handing over a task list and going quiet does not get anyone there.
Three kinds of people. Anyone chasing one viral video. Anyone who wants growth without changing their content. Anyone who has already written the strategy and just wants hands to execute it. I say no early, because it saves us both a wasted quarter.

Discovery Call
If you are this far, you are serious about growing your brand. That already sets you apart. This call is where we find out whether I am the right person to help.
I run a small, hands-on growth studio for creators and founders. Strategy, editing, design and channel management, all built to turn your content into an audience that trusts you and buys from you.
I only work with people as serious about long-term growth as I am. The roster stays small and demand is high, so if we click, you may well jump the queue.
